Marbury and Witton Flashes Bird Reports
Marbury and Witton Flashes Bird Report 2019
Following on from the book which he compiled detailing sightings for 2018, Greg Baker has just issued a book covering sightings during 2019 in the Northwich Woodlands (known as Marbury and Witton Flashes by local birders). This has been compiled by Greg from his own, and other local birdwatchers’ sightings.

Marbury and Witton Flashes Bird Report 2018
FoAM’s members include a number of skilled and enthusiastic local birders who regularly visit Northwich Woodlands – the area known more commonly in birding circles as Marbury and Witton Flashes. One of them, Greg Baker, has compiled a report which contains a comprehensive review of species recorded by him and other birdwatchers during 2018, and which includes a range of photographs of some of the rarer species.
Greg’s report is not only a valuable snap-shot of the 156 bird species seen in the local area during 2018, but it also provides a detailed and accurate base-line from which future increases or declines in individual species can be monitored.
