A chance to hear about the different bats that live in Marbury Country Park and join a guided walk led by Mike Freeman of the Cheshire Bat Group.

Exhibition of photographs from FoAM’s 2018 Competition

Rangers’ Cabin, Marbury Country Park

Sat. 31st August & Sun. 1st September

10.00 am to 4.00 pm

Pop in and see the large variety of subjects that have been taken by photographers with a range of  experience. Maybe you will pick up some ideas.

Summer Family Events

This summer FoAM and Mersey Forest are funding exciting FREE events for families in Marbury Country Park.

Drop in. Stay as long as you like. Suitable for all ages, but children must be accompanied by an adult. 

3 days of outdoor fun with environmental superhero Tim Kirwin:

  • Wednesday 14th August – Try your hand at some green crafts; 
  • Wednesday 21st August – Make a bow and arrow or a fairy wand; 
  • Wednesday 28th August – Play games with a green theme. 

Tim will be in his marquee outside the Rangers’ cabin from 10am – 4pm. All materials provided.

2 different themed days with artist Sue Marsden. 

  • Tuesday 20th August and 
  • Tuesday 27th August

Be creative with natural materials. You don’t have to be artistic. Sue will provide inspiration, ideas and guidance in Marbury Lodge (Meeting Room if bad weather) from 10am – 4pm.
