Unfortunately we will be unable to set out the traps on Friday night because the forecasted temperatures are below 5ᴼ C. It is considered that setting traps in low temperatures can put the animals at risk.
Paul Hill , a FoAM member and an environmental consultant, has kindly offered to be in the Rangers’ cabin for a short time on Saturday morning to demonstrate the trapping procedure and explain more fully the reason for cancellation.
Apologies for the late notification but we were hoping that the weather would change.
Meet: 9.30 am at the Rangers’ Cabin/Marbury Lodge

We were all shocked and saddened to hear of the death of Pete Antrobus. As a lifelong ornithologist he acquired an extensive knowledge of the UK’s avifauna and other wildlife and is perhaps best known to FoAM members for his regular blog and Twitter feed about the Marbury Patch.
Pete’s funeral is to be held at 11.00am am on Thursday 24th November at Walton Lea Crematorium, Chester Road, Walton, Higher Walton, Warrington, WA4 6TB.
A reception will follow at the Spinner and Bergamot, Comberbach.
Pete’s wife Debbie has asked for donations to be made to FoAM in Pete’s name.
